Moving

 I have mixed feelings as we get ready to move out of this neighborhood because I know it will be for the last time.. My family has lived in this neighborhood for maybe 65 years or more.

 My dad first moved here with his parents when he was in his teens. This neighborhood was my first home after I came home from the hospital as an infant, as it was for my sister and brother after me.

 There were pictures taken of me here that I don't even remember because I was so young. One picture of me and my great grandmother was taken outside, another picture is of me taken with my parents when I was a few months old. my dad was holding me. Another picture is of me and my grandparents, this picture was taken outside too and it was obviously taken on my birthday because there is a yummy looking cake in front of me.

 Another picture is of me and my grandparents. I was just a few months old and in the picture I was crying (I did a lot of that).

 Pictures that were taken inside the house are of me and my sister. I was standing on the couch next to my sister, she was propped up in the corner of the couch because she was only a baby then.

 One of my favorite pictures is of my brother when he was maybe three or four. He was standing by the old radio dressed in a suit and wearing a bowtie.

 We played under the old pecan tree. My dog died under the pecan tree after being poisoned by the old goat who lived next door.

 What is funny is that we are moving back into the neighborhood that we moved out of when we moved back here! We had lived in that neighborhood for almost 40 years.
